Clinical Psychologist Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Clinical Supervision
BSocSc (Hons) MA (Clin Psy), PhD
Applying the principles of a psychodynamic therapy approach, I work with people who may be experiencing long term difficulties, sometimes associated with early adversity or current symptoms or long standing interpersonal or mental health related difficulties.
I specialise in working with adults seeking to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships. Rather than focusing on a diagnosis, I believe in the unique experience of each person and work with people to create a space for reflection and growth. Through therapy, you may gain deeper self-awareness, improve your relationships, find relief from symptoms, and experience personal development.
I approach therapy collaboratively and with curiosity, creating a safe space for you to explore and process your emotions and experiences. As a clinical psychologist and researcher, I value the relationship between patient and therapist as a key predictor of success in therapy.
I provide psychodynamic psychotherapy, which is suited to people who wish to undertake a more explorative, and at times, a longer term approach to dealing with issues.
